The ELK-AEXCELLA is an Alarm Engine cellular communicator for AT&T LTE network connectivity. It enables ELK E27 Alarm Engine controls to communicate with a central station and provides a cellular pathway for remote interactive services and programming when IP communication is unavailable.
AT&T LTE cellular communicator for ELK Alarm Engine systems; connects to the RS485 data bus on the E27 control board; requires E27 firmware version 0.6.2 or later; requires an active ElkConnect IP Interactive with Cellular subscription plan.
• Provides alarm and event reporting to a central station
• Automatically switches to cellular communication when the IP path is inaccessible
• Supports remote interactive services and programming through ElkConnect
• Uses ElkConnect cellular service at the same flat rate as IP Interactive with no added cellular cost
• Quick setup with automatic bus enrollment and minimal programming required
The AEXCELLA adds cellular communication redundancy to the E27 platform by connecting to the RS485 data bus. Activation and setup are managed through the ElkConnect portal, and the E27 control can automatically communicate over the cellular pathway if the primary IP pathway becomes unavailable.
The communicator requires an E27 control running firmware version 0.6.2 or later and an active ElkConnect IP Interactive with Cellular plan. Install the module on the E27 RS485 data bus and complete activation through the ElkConnect portal.
