Hanwha Vision TNO-C4080T is a VGA AI tele-lens thermal network camera with a 640 × 480 uncooled microbolometer, 60 mm fixed athermalized F1.15 lens, and image upscaling up to 1280 × 960. It supports person, vehicle, and vessel detection, thermal analytics, secure network integration, and rugged IP66/IP67, IK10, and NEMA 250 Type 4X protection for long-range monitoring.

The uncooled microbolometer detects long-wave infrared energy in the 8-14 µm range, enabling thermal imaging independently of visible light. NETD of ≤16 mK improves sensitivity to temperature variations, while WiseNR and AI-based WiseStream processing help retain useful thermal detail and reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. The 60 mm tele-lens provides a narrow field of view for detailed observation at extended distances, while classified analytics identify people, vehicles, and vessels.
AI detection distance reaches up to 508 m for people, 724 m for vehicles, and 1,732 m for vessels. According to Johnson's criteria, detection reaches up to 2,130 m for people and 5,444 m for vehicles, with identification distances of up to 266 m and 681 m respectively.
The camera measures Ø107.3 × 275 mm and weighs approximately 2,100 g. It supports IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 3 or 12 V DC power, with maximum consumption of 7.8 W via PoE or 8.1 W via DC. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +60°C with 0-95% non-condensing humidity. The minimum object distance is 92 m. The USB Type-C port is intended for preview and installation and requires a Wi-Fi dongle. Optional conduit compatibility and single, double, 4-inch octagon, and square gang-box support are available.
