Hanwha Vision TNU-4041T is a VGA thermal positioning camera with a 640 × 480 uncooled microbolometer, 19 mm fixed F1.0 lens, and video output up to 30 fps. Its motorized pan and tilt platform supports precise positioning, thermal and perimeter analytics, event recording, and reliable operation with IP66, IK10, and NEMA 250 Type 4X protection.

Technical Context

The uncooled microbolometer detects infrared radiation in the 8-14 µm range, enabling thermal imaging without visible light. H.265/H.264 compression with WiseStream II helps reduce bandwidth and storage requirements, while selectable thermal palettes support interpretation of temperature differences. Motorized pan and tilt movement, preset sequences, and event-triggered handover to PTZ presets allow the camera to monitor multiple thermal zones from a single installation.

Installation Notes

The camera measures 219 × 528 × 335 mm and weighs approximately 11.7 kg. It requires 24 V AC power, with maximum consumption of 84 W when the heater is on and 62 W when the heater is off. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +55°C with 0-90% non-condensing humidity. The minimum object distance is 11 m. CVBS is provided for installation, and the camera supports event recording to Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC or NAS.
