Product Overview
The Luminys X52-16KA is a 16-channel 4K hybrid digital video recorder designed for CVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS, and IP surveillance systems. It supports up to 8MP recording on analog channels, up to 32 IP channels, and recorder-based analytics including intelligent motion detection, video content analytics, face detection, and face recognition. The 1U rack- or desktop-mount recorder provides H.265/H.264 compression, dual SATA storage interfaces, and 2.5Gbps Ethernet connectivity.

Technical Context
The hybrid architecture allows existing HD-over-coax cameras and IP cameras to operate on one recorder. Recorder-based analytics create metadata for supported analog channels, enabling intelligent motion detection, line-crossing and intrusion monitoring, face detection, and face recognition. IP channels do not support recorder-based or built-in camera analytics; enabling IP expansion disables analytics on the analog channels.
Installation Notes
