WI-MC301 is a fanless 10G SFP+ fiber media converter that transforms Ethernet electrical signals into optical signals for long-distance network transmission. It provides one multi-rate RJ-45 port supporting 100 Mbps, 1G, 2.5G, 5G, and 10 Gbps, plus one 1G/10G SFP+ slot for flexible optical module selection.

The independent SFP+ slot allows the converter to use optical modules matched to the required fiber type and transmission distance. When paired with another converter using 10G optical modules, the RJ-45 interfaces can adaptively operate at 2.5G, 5G, or 10 Gbps; 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps links require matching speeds at both ends.
Install the converter on a desktop and connect a compatible SFP+ optical module to the fiber link. Supply the device from a DC 12 V/1 A source and connect the RJ-45 port to the Ethernet network. The fanless enclosure measures 93.7 x 70 x 26 mm and includes power and optical-link indicators for status monitoring.
