The Wi-Tek WI-PS310G-F-M12 is an industrial EN50155 M12 Gigabit PoE switch designed for rail transit, vehicles, trackside systems, and other harsh environments. It provides eight M12 X-code Gigabit PoE+ ports and two M12 X-code Gigabit ports with a bypass function, supporting up to 30 W per PoE port and redundant 24–56 V DC power input.

Technical Context

The M12 X-code connectors provide secure Gigabit data and PoE connections for rail and vehicle environments exposed to vibration and shock. The two Gigabit ports with bypass function help maintain network continuity if a downstream connection or device loses power. The switch uses store-and-forward processing, supports 9 kB jumbo frames, and can power compatible IEEE 802.3af/at devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and IP phones.

 

Installation Notes

The WI-PS310G-F-M12 supports wall-mounted installation and uses front-access M12 interfaces for space-limited cabinets. It is intended for rail transit, vehicles, trackside, outdoor, and industrial deployments. Keep the operating temperature within -40°C to 75°C and connect the redundant DC power inputs according to the installation design.
