Product Overview

The Wi-Tek WI-R3 is a dual-band wireless networking device designed to provide fast Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet access, and PoE output support for IP camera installations. It delivers up to 300 Mbps on 2.4GHz and up to 867 Mbps on 5GHz, supports AP mode by default as well as Router mode, and can provide three PoE outputs for IPC devices when powered by a 52V DC input or 48V PoE input.

Technical Context

The WI-R3 supports IEEE 802.11 ac wave1/n/b/g/a wireless standards and uses 2x2 MIMO on both operating bands to support stronger wireless performance. With up to 20dBm transmit power, it is designed for stable connectivity across mixed wired and wireless network deployments.

Fast roaming support helps maintain seamless wireless connections, while the available PoE outputs make the unit useful for IP camera networks where both data and power need to be delivered from the same installation point.

Installation Notes
